Parking: Parking is free which is worth noting as most zoos charge a fee for parking.
Kids: Kids get a $5 discount off the price of adult admission. (up to 11 years old) Toddlers 2 and under get in free.
Seniors: Those 65 years and older save $4.
Military Discount: Military discount is $4. Just be sure to have your military ID.
Student Discount: College Students also save $4. Be sure to have your student ID proving you are indeed a student.
Ride the Rides at Zoo Atlanta: If you or your kids are going to ride the rides I would suggest getting the Fun Pass. This is $15 and gives you 10 rides. The best thing about it is that it doesn’t expire for 1 year. So next time you go back to the zoo your kids will be able to enjoy more rides. That is unless they use all 10 rides the first day. If that is the case go with the Unlimited Daily Ride pass (note that only lasts one day), or the All Day Play Pass which includes zoo admission at a ride pass at a discounted price.
Combo Zoo/Aquarium Discount: If you know you are going to visit the Zoo Atlanta and the Georgia Aquarium then pick up the Combo pass. You will save 5% on regular admission and save 13% on weekend prices. It is a really good deal.
Zoo Atlanta Premium Pass: If you know you want to do the zoo right, and by that I mean see the animals, ride the rides, eat some food and leave with a souvenir to remember it all get the Premium Pass. It is the best deal and comes with one zoo admission ticket, an unlimited rides pass, a lunch basket with fountain drink and a $10 gift shop credit.
Group Discounts: 15 people or more in a group will save $3 to $5 per ticket.
Get in FREE as a Family: Zoo Atlanta has partnered with the Library, and adult residents with a library card can check out the family pass from participating libraries and use it to get a family of 4 into the zoo for free. Check out more details on the Atlanta Zoo site or at your local library. You must check out the DVD and Pass at the checkout station (No self Checkout). One pass per family per year.
B of A Weekends: The best way to save at Zoo Atlanta is to visit during one of Bank of America’s free weekends. The first weekend of each month people with Bank of America cards can get in for free at the Zoo. B of A has partnered with museums of all sorts to bring you free days at those locations by just flashing your B of A credit or debit card. (Unfortunately this promotion has ended, but you can still visit the Atlanta History Center and the High Museum of Art with this promotion.)
